"admit one"
OK, when i got home from school today, there was an envelope from case western reserve university in the mail. not so surprising- howie's been inundated with college mail for the past year or so. but what made this particular peice of mail so interesting was that it was from one of the schools howie had applied to, and it said "admit one" in big letters on the outside of the envelope. i thought it might be the uni messing with heads, but this was the real deal. howie has been accepted to a college! and that's not all, folks- he has also been given a $22,000 a year scholarship. and that's before merit based stuff like nat'l merit scholar and any state or federal aid. despite all this, howie's still not sure. his first choice is rice, and i think he's holding out for their letter. anyway, hooray for howie! yay! so now i need to work on my science project. by "work on", of course, i mean "start". i will be presenting it in website form. i am so cool it hurts a little.
