thingism
i recieved things today. joy! the mail fairy has blessed me once again! 3 books and 2 cds, the world is a good place. and i wish more bands were like british sea power- almost an hour is a perfectly acceptable album length. 27 minutes, however, is not. just sayin'. i always feel cheated when i really like a cd, and then it ends. and i end up listening to it twice in one sitting. humph. also; in a completely unrelated matter, Will Leitch's book is really big. also; i have an unhealthy fascination with the smell of books and places that sell them. certainly the mingled fragrances of new books and coffee in the entryway to a barnes and noble makes me happier than is probably normal. i had thought this was a rare obsession, until i brought a particularly old books to school and my friend anna, having read the inside flap, opened it up and gave it a good sniff. i am not alone! also; i'm costume and makeup crew chief yet again. cruleish irony, for i have no taste in clothes or makeup. jeans, t-shirts, and lip balm are about all i can manage. i am, however, willing to stay after school for hours. this is, i think, my most useful quality on this play.
